TM: I know for a fact you have never stepped one foot even near a bar.

TM: But you know what, sure I’ll indulge you. Come on, I know of a bar still open tonight.

JM: What do you mean, it’s like 6 o’clock shouldn’t all of them be open?

TM: I take it you don’t go to bars very often.

JM: …No, not really.

TM: That’s fine, I’ll tell you as we’re walking.

JM: You don’t hav-

TM: Nope, stop that &$#@ right now. I don’t mind talking about this sort of stuff. Now come on.

 This little snippet comes from the 3rd day of the story, in it Jayson tries to get to know Thomas better in hopes that if he becomes a little less hostile, his interactions with the students will be better (also to note, although Thomas is an ex-con, he was never in it for major crimes. His crimes were mostly harmless misdemeanors like vandalism or jaywalking. Most of the time the reasons he did these is because in the fictional country they live in, even minor crimes can put you in jail for a few days until they get to your case. This exploit in the system has cased many homeless people to do these minor crimes so they'll have temporary shelter. Due to this issue, the Queen of the country has decided to pass a new act in her council that will give these people jobs in exchange for staying out of jail.)
